Some members did experience lag there regardless though, but I'm more inclined to blame that on the obscene amount of objects (1000s of wall segments, braziers, ovens, smelters, etc) and their ****** computers than the 1x1 farm tiles.

Now, if you use antialiasing on your GPU then there would obviously be more stuff to AA if you didn't use 1x1 farm tiles. But still, I'm going to blame that on operator error not jorb/loftar/1x1farm tiles.

This is all from personal experience, so I'm not just talking out of my ass like you tend to do more often than not.

So now your blaming players on crap rigs because they cannot render 10,000 fields in a small area which was "NEVER INTENDED INGAME", and its "there problem".

My laptop can run ANY amount of stuff on a screen with the 1x1 tile + tree leaf graphic stopping animation mod i have.
If i disable the mod, and i go to specific areas of players who i know use this kind of bug abuse, my laptop will explode.

But its my problem yea, unintended stacking of fields/trees means you need epix PC to run salem, or extended modded client. Classic answer.

Go bug abuse more.

Again, as long as your happy stax, and GH&co are happy and can play without bugs, who gives a flying ***** about the rest of the player base ? amiright?

The simple fact is a player using the normal farms needs to either A) make less farms to save space or B) spend more time and resources building longer walls around his base and more braziers since the area of his base is going to be bigger because the normal fields are 16x bigger. The problem was that this mod wasn't readily available before but atleast now everyone has a chance to use it. Now whether or not you want to use it is a different story.

My farms are legit, but viewed through the 1x1 modded client, of course they will look retarded.

Your just proving your stupidity over and over.

Then why even use the 1x1 mod?

I found the answer: Your computer is **** or you don't know how to properly manage your GPU...or both.

3nd use of the 1x1 mod is being able to destroy the fields of people who abuse the over lapping bug easier.

*Cough GH cough*

My laptop "needs" the mod to ensure i do not bug out if i approach players bases who use this bug.
My Main Rig uses It because i just use the same client ? Why would i repack 2 different clients every update ?

*Facepalm*

It seems you have nothing valuable to add to this discussion now. So please Stop trying to take the subject off topic and stop just posting lines of insults without adding anything to the discussion. You as a mod are breaking the rules you are suppose* to uphold and enforce. Go mod yourself.

It would be a really poor decision to make this a requirement for a commercial game to put on its players. And a really lame response for a community manager.

Last I checked, we were both talking about 1x1 farm tiles...how is that off topic?

You are arguing that the tiles lag out peoples computers, which isn't the case. What lags out peoples computers is the amount of objects being rendered on the screen at any given time, and if they are trying to AA all of those objects as well. You can ***** argue all you want, but just being inside of our old base with no 1x1 farm tiles in render distance would lag out many people's clients. It wasn't the modded farm tiles, it was the amount of objects in render distance of the player. You really should get a clue before you start ranting and raving about things you obviously don't know anything about.

Your new (and only argument) against the 1x1 farm tiles is no longer valid.

a)I'm not a community manager, just a moderator on the forums.
b)I can build a base WITHOUT using the 1x1 farm tiles that any player will see framedrops in, and in cases of memory overload or extended loading period, will just crash the client or return to log in screen. That is a different problem altogether, that is not related to using 1x1 farm tiles whatsoever.
