Great job on the Over haul. Looks a lot easier to understand, clearly set out in plain text.

Looking forward for more changes to come.

Define quality and behave... also if "contribute nothing" is crime now then finally Dallane gets perma ban for spamming 3000+ posts with zero content?

To his defense: it did say "may", so the mods have the right to choose to not moderate posts that contribute nothing.

That is precisely what I do not intend to do. The forum culture is its own definition, and every definition is merely a selection compared to the whole of the actual fact. Moderation is generally left to the discretion of the moderators, but I intend this revision as a fresh start. Ultimately you are at the mercy of my own fickle, but just, whims. ;)

I expected something like that, it is fine for people that are here little longer, but new people (I know they are not coming in here for next 2-3 months) when they come to forums and see "no rules", it will be masacre like in tv show last week ;)

Ideally there will not be a devolution of rules and attitudes to constitute a situation of 'no rules.' Merely a bit of breathing you for you guys to express yourselves and for all of us to learn how to communicate without bashing each other open. =)

Yea if you consider righteous mods and good people on forums, but if anyone will like to abuse, post bs or use his powers for his own gain imo it will gets more complicated :| To defend ours selfs we should now search for past cases and argue about it in thread about moderation, so judge and punishment in our case would be similar to one we found? Or it is going to work otherway?

Feel very free to send me a PM if you feel you've been unfairly treated. I don't like overruling moderation decisions, but I will at the very least listen to what you have to say. In my mind the complaint thread more fills the purpose of providing a place where mods and individual moderation decisions *can* be discussed publicly if you desire to do so, so as to indicate that it is not forbidden or whatever.
