Safer, quicker and easier, to just spend 150s and drop a claim stone over a scent if possible. This is why i ALWAYS carry 1-3 Writs with me Just in case ^.^[/quote]

Wait i used to build a stone wall to, people can't walk through an claimed claim stone ?

After many frustrating scenarios where something I want is either on the edge of or inside of a cliff I've found that if your character's not able to walk within an arbitrarily defined area around the object in question, you can't interact with it.
You also can't interact with objects when you're in the climbing stance.

Did I mention this is infuriating? Because it is. I.E. The OSL you need to make a woo woo wand finally appeared after three hours of foraging but it's just close enough to the edge of a twelve meter cliff that you can't recover it unless you're in the mood to terraform for a couple of hours.
