We are the free people of Salem.
We are the men and women of this brave new land. We are those who have journeyed into the fruitful, yet unsettled lands of Salem, to hew for ourselves a gem from the raw goodness of the wilderness and plains. A gem, which we can call solely our own. A gem that we are proud to defend against any and all who wish to challenge our rights to it.
We have no leader and no government, only a common wish, and a common goal. Our goal is our leader. Our goal is to be free and to remain free.
We are the people who remain free in the face of oppression. We are the people who believe in the right to protect our lands with our own 2 hands, and not be forced to give into those who systematically opress all those who are free.
The free people of Salem do not seek revenge. Nor do we seek to disturb others who do not to wish to be free or to protect their lands with their own 2 hands.
The free people of Salem stand only for their own personal right to freedom. And though we stand for ourselves, through our common goal we are bound together. For after all, if one man loses his freedom in the face of tyranny, it is an affront to the idea that we stand for and threatens all we believe in.
We have been here since the dawn of Salem. And we will remain here long after it's fall. We are the free people of Salem.
