First of all, i would like to stress that this post is in no way personal, nor is it meant to insult any of the communities. Also, i do not believe this thread will make everyone love each other, nor make the forums a forever loveful place. However;
I get that the MM tribe and the GH does not like each other. But, blaming each other of "bug abusing" in a closed beta seems kinda silly. And not only does it seem silly; every single topic in this forum seems to get turned to the fact that someone, at some time, abused/used a bug, and is therefore a lesser being? My point is - come on - it is still a closed beta. Of course there are bugs. Of course there are abusers. Arguing who is abusing, and who are not, just seems plain stupid?
Next, i would like to comment on the game's politics. Now, there will always be a group of people more powerful than others, and those people will always seek to gain more power. It is simply human nature. I fail to see, how people can keep complaining about "big" tribes on whatever server sets the rules. That is the way of the game. Hide, and play as a hermit - join a "small" colony, and have a chance of getting ericted, or join (or pay a fee to) a large tribe, in order to survive.
These are all basic human emotions, only, it is in a game. I find it amusing and unbelievable that people keep flaming not only the tribes who did well, but also members of other tribes that were not so lucky.
Yes - some people bug-abused - but hey - IT IS A BETA.
Yes - some tribes are better than other - IT IS THE WAY OF THE GAME
No - playing a hermit does not make you safe (though i did wish it did).
No - posting an angry post on forum why you left will not bother anyone.
Now, as said, I do not expect this post to change the maturity of posts on the forum. I do however hope, that the moderators will help keeping a more joyful tone, and not be dragged to the level of the posters. It is my general impression, that the moderators (though not always posting as moderators), are actually just adding fuel to the discussion, rather than just taking it to a level where people actually care to read what they write.
