This is the politics forum. Unfortunately, all I've seen in here so far are **** threads...it is bound to get a whole lot worse. That being said, I wouldn't judge the community based on the 'drama subforum' anyways...because I'm sure that majority of the playerbase doesn't even read the forums.

Play for a couple months, you come to realize the ***** of the community is a feature not a bug.

It's neither a feature nor a bug. It's a causality of being a game on the internet. Since there is permadeath and open PvP isn't discouraged, players need a place to brag about victories or lament losses. This is encouraged here. Naturally, you get a lot of mediocre threads about various in-game activities, but you get some really stellar stories in some games that are talked about for years.
