So I contacted the Chief about becoming a ranger for the treaty. I had found a few places and I was wondering if they had indeed paid their treaty or not. With the Chief's approval I began placing signs around at these bases telling them that they'd have 24 hours to pay their treaty or they would be raided. Chief informed me that he was "busy rolling around in earthworms and silver" so I was free to enforce the treaty if it meant he got his share. This is fine with me.
And so it began

24 hours later and the sign that I'd left is magically gone, but one of the members is inside!

I originally said hello and offered him a dead deer that had been around his base, in hopes that this was just a huge misunderstanding.

The perpetrator appeared to be AFK, so I stood for about a half an hour with the deer over my head hoping to speak with him.
After about 45 minutes of waiting I grew very tired and decided that it was indeed time to go inside. I'd seen him inside earlier before the timer was up and when I'd returned 2 hours later he was still in the same spot!

He was read his rights and told the charges that were being placed against him

I gave him another chance to respond

Sadly he was still refusing to speak and so I was unable to work out a healthy compromise

The Tribe supports this post and is waving any/all scents that are left while I am enforcing the treaty in their name. I regret the murder of the "seemingly" new player but the chests, smelters and fields said otherwise. RIP Non Treaty Rebel #1
More signs have been left and timers have been set, please pay your treaty in a crate beside said signpost in time.
Please be aware that I am doing this ranging specifically so that myself and my friends are not harmed due to forum politics.
I hope that in the future I have a real opponent to buttheads with
