ore purity selling points

So, I found an 18% pure mine. Would this ore sell well and if so, how much per bar? I would assume it's definately higher than 100-120 a bar.

Nice find, although I would say that the dross created from not using any lime in your smelter is more valuable than the metal itself.

lemme rephrase the question...how much should I sell an 18% pure dowsing rod for. I'm highly uncertain of the pricing in this range of purity.

well, a 12% pure rod is currently the most expensive item on the market at 600 silver.

Generally speaking the help threads are for game mechanics and etc. Many of the helpers aren't fully active in trade. You're better off posting a screenie of the ore values in the Trade Winds forum and asking for a price check or offers Dross and Dowsing rods will be your main potential sellers. The type of alchemical purity it is will matter as well.

It's not the % purity that matters, it's the highest alchemical value, but many players don't really know that so it's not a huge deal.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Best post a pic with all the alchemical values listed like Sevenless said. It does matter since people may be looking for specific elements.

I'm strongly against selling them though. If you found a good mine you will make more from selling the dross or lockets. Why sell yourself cheap and give others and easy way to make their own and profit?

Have you sold any lockets?
