Placing a Stone Hedge

I'm trying to place a Stone Hedge in front of my character but the building sign always turns in other direction.
I have watched GamerZakh tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdgByJRNU8w&feature=plcp and the sign turns in the direction of his character.
