i placed it in my inventory but it just disappiear.
i didint trow it out cause it was not on the ground
i wasn't standing in the water
where did it go?!

the model might be really really really small. if you drop small items they are hard to see so zoom in where you were. check the last container you opened too.

Stick it in your backpack? Stick it in the wrong container? Items, in general, don't disappear. However, with the update being the night before and the server sometimes crashing, if you last moved it just before the server crashed, it could have been lost to the great void.

dont know obout that server crash...
i zoomed in and out was searching for it 1-2mins didnt find it was in the woods i just found ore spot and wanted to equip my shovel
so i put my wand in my inventory and it was gone!

It happen to me last week too

I lost my first woo-woo wand when I got bit by a snake when prospecting. I put it in my backpack to get my sword to finish off the snake (and its brother too, since what the hell, I was already poisoned, right?). I nearly made it back to base before I took a dirt-nap (nowhere near water), and when I recovered my tools and supplies, the woo-woo wand was nowhere to be seen.

I think they might disappear like dropped earthworms, or maybe have an invisible model. Anyways, as far as I can tell you can't retrieve them when dropped. And at 3 leather apiece, I'm not about to go experimenting.

I've lost 2 this week, myself. Checked the ground thoroughly.

well I don't see why they are so great. I made one and its found me 4 wells but no mines. ok. one mine an hour away on a CLIFF. thank you o great woo woo wand.

That's odd, usually Wands find more Mine Nodes than Dowsing Rods (wands are far less picky). You might be "lucky" and be in an area with only high-purity nodes.

not having iron is becoming a pain. and it looks like you need iron to even make an ore smelter so I guess ill have to fight crickets first.
