Wiki's Purity article: Now slightly better!

I just spent the last hour trying to improve the terrible Purity article that was on the wiki. I gave more relevant and concise explanations of the effects of purity, as well as including a glorious table comparing Highest-Element to Purity.

http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Purity

Check it out and tell me if there's more information or explanations there that you would like to see.

Keep up the good work. With any luck, you'll turn the Wiki in to something useful.

I do my best. I'm not gonna touch the Agriculture article for a while, though... *shudders*

Is there anything else you would like to see in the Purity article? I was thinking that a section on the effects of mixing purities might be useful, and I've been conducting research with Water recipes and Smelting.

Blech, I want to make a guide re-write but things are changing so fast right now I'm not touching it either :/

Good work, looks nice.

The only artifact I with purity that I have seen so far is the Smooth Stone. The purity multiplier was too small to show up in the event of rounding (1.05), but my suspicion is that purity has no effect. Nails are made from Iron, but even so they have no associated purity.

Given that most artifacts and all clothing has no Purity, I would suspect that it wouldn't have any effect. However, all we need is one really good Smooth Stone or Spiderweb to disprove this.

If animals have some purity now, even things like etterfangs and snake skulls should have some purity to them to see.

I had the same thoughts on the Agriculture article when I was first putting it together. It's just turned into a bigger mess since with some of the changes. Maybe we can create a work-in-progress (WIP) page to either move later or use to replace the old one? There's nothing wrong with scrapping the current thing all together and starting anew.

What's wrong with the Agriculture article? Is it just the organization that you don't like? I've been working on adding some information to it for newer players.
