Talk about massive weirdness. Yeah, either the increased efficiency of the 0% worm is adding to the "Weight" of the whole worm crew, or the reduced disparity between the purity of the bin and new worm combo gave the worms more weight. Or both :\ I'm leaning towards the efficiency idea, though.
Interesting...the purity went UP once again with additional worms! The increased worm efficiency clearly overpowers the neutral purity of the baby earthworm. Your data is truly valuable, Wiatrak!
I'll try to work out the proper formulas for this.
Actually a drop in the overall worm purity also accounts for a rise in the "Weight" of the worms. A simple (worm * bin_multiplier + bin * worm_multiplier ) / sum_of_multipliers isn't off by a whole lot in terms of what you'd expect the results to be.
Edit : But such a simple formula seems to not work for lower purity worm mixes, so I assume efficiency also plays some part.
seems from what i could read of the pictures that there's a decreasing return. High value food doesn't move the worm a whole lot more then low value food.

The max value you can get the worms to is still linked though, so it's still pretty important.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.
