Seems like it was more than a few weeks ago, but I do recall the eight tile range that was mentioned.

With right of englishmen you can just attack and KO someone. To kill them you need to get 'The Story of Cain & Abel' skill.
Without rights of englishmen you can just say: 'Sorry that I put leanto in place that bothered you good sir!'
or ask someone else to help you
(you can track and collect evidence then give it to someone with high stats and skills to get job done for you)
