Salem

A guy in the salem irc said that the higher the mercury on a bar = better for swords because it has higher poison damage. Is this true or is this guy just trolling? If this is true, does anyone know what the effects of the other elements do for sabres?

there are no "effects" nor is it likely there will be, this is Salem, not Diablo 3.

I have to say it was a pretty clever troll, though. But no, there's no such thing as poison damage in Salem :)

Calling the poison debuff poison damage feels odd, but I guess one could argue that it is.

Possibly metal inspirational output? lover's Lockets? i dunno.

Possibly the purity of any tools made with said metal, too, such as cauldrons or ovens that need iron bars. Please note that this is pure speculation at the moment. I can't know this as I've not developed that far.
