where do you find the witch book?

Postby sefer » Tue Aug 21, 2012 1:56 pm

I want to become a witch... but I don't know how to get/find the book. Do you find it? Do you craft it? If so, what do you need to unlock it?

Currently it's unknown if the book mechanic has/will be kept as the way to start witching. Furthermore we don't know if/when witching has/will be introduced.

The devs have announced it will be a blind update and pilgrims will have to figure things out on their own when it does come out.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I've heard it second hand from multiple sources. Book foraged from darkness area, presumably stumps but I'm unsure. Will give confirmation if I hear a first hand account. But I certainly think this is the real thing gentlemen.

I dunno, unless Witchcraft is seriously underpowered the mechanic for "getting it out there" is a bit too obscure and will lead to people with huge advantages much like the purity nodes did. That being said, I'm gonna set up an expedition to the darkness tootsweet.

*shrugs* They've said the release will be completely shrouded in mystery. I'm just grateful the person who figured it out blabbed to loose lips.
