Gelatinous Lard

Has anybody found an easy way to get Gelatinous Lard? I just cut five deer up into meat shreds, cooked them over a fire, and got nothing.

Stop posting threads like this. Two threads with the exact same name?
And lard is a random chance. According to the wiki making Sizzled Slugs has a ~10% chance to produce it. Readily available and easy to make, might be on to a winner there.

just made 10 Sizzled Slugs, nothing again.

random chance as in "each time you get a 1 in 10 chance" not "every 10 goes you get one"... I know it doesn't help, but I've had it drop out of cooking slugs twice in a couple days of collecting stuff around my spawn point... best to make plans based on not having it and be surprised when it turns up
