Not sure if this the right place in the forum but I want to share my experience in prospect with the newbies.
I try 1 a WooWoo 0 P. and thats find 6 mines far west my settle.
Later I buy a Rod, this one as 5 P., find mines where the WooWoo detect nothing.
But how about the already detected?
For my surprise the Rod cannot see the mines the WooWoo find, not sure about that.
Is because the rod ONLY detect in is 5% radius? Is because the WooWoo detect exclusive mines?
I expect the Rod detect the WooWoo ones AND the superior ones. From other point of view, this is prefect to detect ONLY high P. mines with a 30% Rod for example.
Please, if someone understand this more, explain a bit.

Each wand/rod sees a range of mines based on its purity. +/- 10 alchemical purity I believe? Assuming that hasn't been changed.

That means you can't see the low value mines with the rod, only ones within a range of the rods P. Definitely build on the mine(s) you found with the higher purity rod. That sounds like a really good find.

Thanks. This mean the 20% someone sold can see high P mines. Wonder whats the highest number they put in game. Mines P.100 that are undetectable right now?
