Turkey farming and building stoves

Postby lalllall » Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:16 pm

So I just put up my first turkey farm and put some turkeys in it and gave them food. So far nothing has happened but i guess they will start to breed more turkeys. I just wanted to check if anyone else has been able to experiment with this yet?
I put only 4 turkeys in my farm and have filled the food to 50%. Will post and devlopment here.

My second question is regarding stoves. Has anyone so far been succesfull in placing one of these. I tried for 15 minutes before i gave up, the area just seems to small.

Did you build a new house? It doesn't work with the previously built ones...

Full coop (1 space beneath each turkey) ate 2% food in one tick. A tick is at least 3hours long, I'm still watching them.

Known product: Turkey Droppings. +Speed and +Influence fertilizer.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Turkey droppings seem to go to the bottom of the coop automatically. Turkeys seem to eat literally anything that goes in a compost bin, wood chips included. Obviously that'll change.

People need to discover these things which have been out for only a day and they also need to share them so they can be added to the wiki.

That we've discovered, 3 reasons for turkeys. Turkey dropping is an influence and speed fertilizer, very awesome. Further, roast turkey meet has *very* nice phlegm restore, making it a very good meat to eat while working at stuff like building or terraforming. Finally, turkey meat can be increased in purity. All other meats can't right now.

Feathers: obviously has a use, we don't know if it's implemented though.

Roast Turkey: It HAS to have insane gluttony values.
