now-

new items not previously studied (net 100% gain of course), will reset anything else already used , to be re-studied at 70%

You may have accidentally studied the same variety curio twice? Even if it's not choppings, but you already used that other curio, your LA continues to plummet.

Which reminds me, that'd be a good example for my guide.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

The learning ability:
1º Each timi you study somethhing for first time it will count as 100%
2º If you consume the same item, its % will drop.
3º After studing something, if you study other thing, it will be studied as 100% and letting you at 70%. After that, it doen't matter if you use the same item or if you studie one that you have alredy studied before, it will drop to 50% but count as 70%.
After that, if you again studie something different it will put again at 70% counting as 100%.

Easy example for everyone:

Brain(100%)-Brain(70%)-Singing log(100%)-Brain(70%)-Wood Choppings(100%)-Brain(70%)-Nuts(100%)-Brain(70%)-Brain(50%)-Nuts(35%)-Spinning top(100%)-Brain(70%)-Sinew(100%)-Brain(70%)-Singing Log(50%)-Brain(35%)

Easy to understand i think.. :troll:

i'll edit last post and instead of showing the math and test behind it, condense it down to spare the trolling and confusion of whats been found...
(thats not targeted at anyone, just saying...makes it easier...then anyone can stroll along say 1+1=2 and not need for the reasoning and math behind it...simple right?)

pretty much what loftar said before that spurred confusion, is now accurate

you can figure it out for yourself i'm sure
