I entered a mine, and the game closed on me. Couldn't log into another character for about 5 mins as it said I was already logged in. Will this eventually go away or is that guy lost forever?

If the character entering mines is not in combat, you should be able to login with in a few minutes, 5 at most.

Hmm, I don't know. That guy I walked into the mine, I can't log into. I'll click log in, and it just goes back to character select screen. Then if I try to choose a different character, it'll say "Already Logged In". I'll have to wait 5 mins or so for him to "log out". Not sure what the issue is.

If it doesn't let you log back in with the mine guy within 5-10 more minutes; and you are registered on the game's discord, then message Marp about it.
He's the fixer here until our fearless leader JC returns.

Sounds like a connection problem. I sometimes get this too, but for me it's not related to what I'm doing in game at the time.

is it actually a disconnect or a crash?

I don't know. I just kicks me straight back to the the log in screen, but then tells me I can't log in because the account is already in use.

id go into Taskmanager and close java.exe or into console and do

Taskkill /IM java.exe /F

to close any clients.

1.) Yes, I cannot log in with this guy and when I try it kick me to character select and then tells me "account is already in use".
2.) Ender one.
3.) No clue, I was out wandering and went into the mine and then it kicked me.
