Literally just created a character and logged in.

I'm told to right-click on the pilgrim standing right next to me.
I right click and nothing happens.
I try right-clicking on the lady in the house, and nothing happens.

Literally 30 seconds into the game and can't do anything. Epic fail.

Can't progress further because I'm stuck in the first area. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

You start out like this:



To decide your gender, you right click on either the female or the male. That will make your grey character either a woman, or a lad.



From there on, you still will need to complete the tutorial, which includes a quick questline prior to actually landing into the actual and permanent lands of Providence.

You see the objectives in the right corner:



Funny how you actually forced me to start up this game since quite a while ago.

iirc if you open the gate before you choose your gender it bugs out.

None of you even read my post.

If I right click on either, nothing happens. I'm mashing right-click hundreds of times and nothing is happening.
I'm on OS X. Would that make a difference?

You basically need java 1.6 as stated in that thread, and a 1.6 client like the 1.6 version from my thread or enders (also an updated .jar for enders with cravings in my thread).

I had the same issue on my Womans Mac. I never was able to get it to work. Same exact issue. Good luck man.

Honestly this is too much work. Either the game works or it doesn't. Being in the software industry myself, I would never release something that makes the user jump through hoops, and if a patch/workaround is needed then it is updated immediately. It is not the work of the user/customer to fix mistakes from the dev team. The user should not be able to break the system.

The game works. Use a actual computer.
