the topic says it all
"Any personal claim that has a claim stone covered by a town claim can be removed by spending 2 silver per square" So is this how the ******* did it?"

That is all I can see around the property that I can no longer get into.

You domain the claim, you require the said authority *2.

So lets say your claim is 100x100 = 10.000
You will require 20.000 authority, base of a town bell is 750 so 19.250 is still required, base of a flag is 360 so therefore you still need 53.5 flags -> 54 flags. Then once that is done, you will need to fill the bell with silver so your authority has the power to domain someone else his Pclaim.

It is this way because otherwise people would have no means to remove P-claims themselves because they are impossible to destroy otherwise (if they are paid). This in itself is a failure of the game mechanics, so it was simply a temporary fix years ago, however due to the Law&Lore changes and the stagnation of the game it is fairly common to do this nowadays.

People are encouraged to make a town-bell (or have both), the downside of that is that the authority objects are actually vulnerable to raiders and that it comes with a larger upkeep.
