Have deer been changed because the wiki says with Viscera & Bits the chance for hooves is 4 and after getting it i go out kill 3 and 1 hoof

The way Viscera and Bits works is that you get 4 rolls for hooves, it's not guaranteed all four will roll a hoof. It just means maximum is 4, minimum is 0. Also the loot pool for viscera skilled people is separate so it used to be that if someone without the skill butchered first then someone with the skill they could still roll for that extra loot.

I have had visera and bits for close to a year and I have never seen more than 2 hooves. More likely than not it is 0 with the occassional 1. If there is a secret to getting more, I sure do not know it.
