Marp Told Me
It was eminent domained. The cash back function upon being eminent domained was removed in a patch some months back but appears to have been left out of the announcements.

Been thinking about coming back to start a new character but the current mechanics seem like they might be a pain in the ass atm, at least to play semi-passively

previously you also wanted a town bell on any semi-serious base, nothing has changed. If anything, the 6-month silver store in pclaims now makes passive play even more laidback, as long as you have some basic defenses up.

P-claims don't cut it anymore since the salvage ability, even for the solo player you need a V-Claim for protection. If you build good defenses on a P-claim , raiders will just V-claim your base.

Yeah someone vclaimed ya. You must have had some good loots in there...lot of work (silver) on their end depending on how large your pclaim was. if you had crappy loots, well they lost and you won lol
