So I read in the wiki you need to place the timber piles (2x2) in an area 12x12 to avoid moldy thing, the problem is that seems like the timber piles is placed "not centered", I have to place it manually with "ctrl"?

Consider them to be 3x3. You need full 5-6 tiles free of any objects in every direction to minimize moldy boards outcome.
