Since the wiki is down again I'll ask here: if I craft a potion that has glass bottle amongst ingredients when I consume the potion will I get the empty bottle back?
Something tells me I won't. Am I right? Are we eating glass bottles? If that's the case I can't help but wonder: do we like open them to drink the potion or just swallow it whole like a pill that will break inside eventually spilling the contents? xD

Potions you do indeed eat the bottle while drinking the potion (hope you like your potions a little crunchy). Jc recently changed a few of the foods though so you do get the bottle back now:

Players now get refunded hte Jar when consuming Cranberry Sauce.
Players now get refunded the Jar when consuming Berry Jam
Players now get Refunded the Jar when creating a Jam Sandwitch.
