Logged on today and emediately gainel madness lvl. After maybe 15 min I gained another lvl.
Played normaly yesterday, 6-7h prolly.
Felt weird so I logged other char on acc.
He gained 1 madness emediately. Havent played him in a week or so. Weird. Hes just an adventuring alt.
Pickin stumps and logs. Doin a lot of inspirationals, pickin flowers and all. Never ever gained a lvl with him
Been playin him for 3 maybe even 4h. Never bothered with lvl1 madness.
Switched back to first char and he right away got third lvl....freaMin shiitee!!
Went to city, puffed some herbs, went down one.
Back to base.
Did nothin special, few boxes, some rearanging, BAMMM, lvl 4.

Cmon, been playing no problem few weeks as I ve been off few years.
Doin mostly same things.
Weird shiiytee.
Someone got any explanation for this? Its gettin me puzzled.

Do you have a hanging man near your base?

Are you wearing a mask ? What mask ?
Are there weird structures - crab on spike - around your base ?
Also, if you have a level of madness at the moment of logging in , the client will tell you that only few seconds later, it may look like you just gained a level.

Does the remaining tree without man still cause madness?

Ya. It was the damn tree.

was so mad just choped it down bfore readin I could loot the hangman.
