I gave a serious answer, though.

It's most likely a bugged 1x1 block that didn't really make it through kindergarten and was left alone when the new map was generated, an ugly duckling if you may.
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

The map is full of these 1x1 tiles with a different elevation than the surrounding area. Most of them are dimples in the land, though. Have to say this is the first time I've seen a pedestal tile. Now if you only had a dragon to put there....

The block just looked so unusual & designed that I figured it must be something special.

You don't see em too often, but pre-commercial I saw a pedestal 13 tiles high.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.
