Titans can just carry 400+ to 1200+ liters of water in buckets in their inventory. Barrels are for newbies and make you slow while lifting them.

Also, plenty of mine nodes can be found next to bodies of water so water being far isn't some magical thing, and a titan can easily carry lots of water just from providence if they decided to set up their pots away from water(for some reason) (Never, ever use Wells unless you're biles are too low to efficiently port water from providence and have no natural water source near you)

If he's asking about whether he can garden in a mine though, I don't think he has a 'titan' character. Carts or sleds of barrels are probably the most efficient way, plus as many buckets as you can carry.
