Mkay, we're getting very repetitive questions in help lately. That means an FAQ to link is probably quite useful right now so here goes. Please comment with additions you'd like to see. If there's any forum diggers able to find references for this stuff I'd love you to bits as well, I've always been bad at tracking down posts.

I was playing back with Paradox in pre-commercial beta, why can't I use my old account?

what would be really great is if you could make each one a separate post, with index linking to each post in the OP, so people can link to the specific thing. pain in the ass, probably, but i think it's worth it.

Yep, already intended. However I wanted feedback first, and the actual posts will drown out any comments because of how many they will be. Once that's done the "first post" will just be an index, all the actual answers will be in separate posts.

But first, lets get the list more complete and filled in if I'm missing anything.

Maybe not... The wiki is running extremely slow for me today for some reason. There may be an entry there about it, too (and if not, someone maybe should add it?)

In the KO section, make it clearer that these two are exceptional situations for being knocked out -- simpler ones involve fighting and losing to creatures or (my favorite) swimming to the point of exhaustion.

contact support@paradox (and get a new key, i guess? i know they cannot use the not-transferred account again.)

this is another one i often hear too.

also,
-"how can i spawn at friends place?" "how can my friends and i spawn together?" group port not existing. hs system and such.
-"my log is stuck!" tree falling down direction. including tree log stuck in buildings and cliffs.
-"i cannot put a lifted item down." simple right-clicking the ground mechanic.
-"it says i need a fire to cook xxx but im standing next to the fire." (right-click it to get close enough to use fire or whatever.)
-"why can someone walk and take things from my claim?" permission system (color too), partying feature, black skills.
-"why does everyone have "???" as their name?" memorizing & kinning system, buddy list and giving a name to a memorized player.
(you may find this strange, but i often hear this from those who are used to major mmos where everyone shows their names.)
-maybe an explanation for the difference between ko and death. people still think they died when they just got koed.
