It gave me a few nice level-ups. Then on providence I need domesticated meat, and have never seen that, nor found any in any stall. On Concord it now wants wild Wings, that will not be available for quite some time (requires oven).
So what I wonder is this: is there a way to get any decent benefit here, or will it just give a small one-time benefit? Anything Im missing?

You may eat a food in the same food group for +1 bile randomly to one of the 4 biles. If you want +1 to all biles when doing the craving THEN you must eat the exact food shown for craving.

You can buy domesticated meat from stalls in Providence, I know for a fact there is some, just keep looking.
You can also switch your craving to something else if you become a first degree member of masonic lodge.
Cravings are a great help when you have access to different food. There is just a point when you too advanced for simple cravings, but not developed enough to satisfy all of them. You will get over this stage after some time.
