Getting grapes is very very very easy and easy to figure out without deep knowledge of the game.
My first try of my first guess worked.
Just start trying and you will have them very soon.

Now I can tell for sure you are wrong:

It's something far from being easy because that plant is unknown in many regions of the world or translated in a different way (and I live in northern Italy surrounded by vineyards).
The way to obtain it is something you never do in Providence so you can't even discoverer it by chance.
The ingame 2d and 3d graphic is something different or at least misleading.
It took me 33 tries to get my first grape so I obtained it only because someone told me how.

Now I can laugh twice as laud to your constant "easy solution" speech.
..and be frustrated a moment after because the craving after the fruit is also an impossible one.. a pumpkin.. very rare in the world (but very easy with the credit card)
