it might be best to be frugal when it comes to information you share about animals on the wiki. some people like discovering things by themselves. splashing every single detail you think you know on the forum with the expectation that it will be transcripted to the wiki might spoil the fun of that minute fraction of the playerbase who actually like to use their brain rather than reading a cook book in order to play the game.

The main goal of a wiki is to give information so do not pretend you are doing someone a favor by hiding knowledge. You are only keeping an advantage against newer players.

As far as I know there is only one main topic specifically forbidden and I don't even fully agree with that but it's a rule and there are sanctions so, again, I find your reasons to hide details about anything else just selfish.

I agree with Teoki.

This thread is about sharing information about animals and the wiki is about storing and organizing information. If you want to discover this knowledge by yourself, feel free and avoid the help section and the wiki on your own choice. But don't use that reason to make other people not talk about animals in a topic dedicated to sharing and receiving information about animals.
