How do I get to Providence? I have a little button that looks like a judges gavel that says "town" but its grayed out and I can't click on it. I can't find anything that says I need to have a certain skill or be a certain distance in the game first. In fact from everything I'm reading, it seems like I should be able to get to town from the beginning after character creation.

You also need to be standing near your lean to when you do what he says above. Or not have anything in your inventory. Certain skills quicken the time for you to get there.
