Darkness Boundries

Soo I've been traveling quite abit and exploring and to a degree, been using the new world surveys as reference points. I'm guessing the far left parts of the survey are shrouded in darkness, since the deeper I go, the more darkness creatures I begin to encounter.

Not sure what the question is.
Yes darkness is deeper the more you're afar from Providence.
The Runestones are in light darkness and the Sundial is not.

I was just wondering where the darkness began. Figured the other half of the map wasn't darkness.

One way you can test is make a new world survey when you first begin to encounter rats and a very slight drain. That is the twilight zone between the light and the dark.

Light doesn't diminish from easy to west, but in a circle around Providence. So, the corners of the map will have the deepest darkness.
