Ok this is just stupid I am brand new to the game and my character
is frozen in a block of ice.

Absolutely stupid I just started the game and you can't even
get a damn start in this game and it throws
you into an area where you are going to get hypothermia
and frozen into an ice block before you can even get a start
in this game.

What an absolute joke this game is how do I just delete
my character and restart.

I can't move and I can't do anything this is absolute BS that
you get thrown into an area where you get frozen into an ice
block before oyu can even really get a start.

Do the developers not even have enough ***** comon
sense to give people at least a fair chance to get started.

The developers of this game really need to give their
head a shake and fix this so that any new player actually
gets a fair chance before they get frozen into a block of ice.

I don't know anyone on this game or anything I am a brand
new player to the game.

This isn't a very good first impression of this game that
is for sure.

Edit: ****, I'm in Help.

Uhhhh....you can thaw a character out with a Tinder Drill or a lit Torch.

When you make a new character, port to Prov immediately. Go to the east to the coast and collect reeds and select one, right click it on another, and weave them. Weave until you have patchwork and rags. You can also get Weaving which will give you 2 woven reeds per 2 reeds instead of 1. Seems to be worth it but not necessary. Move your pilgrim robe to your robe slot from the shirt slot. Craft Jute gear. You can also craft a http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Maple_Mustache_Masque if you want an additional bump in Thermal value.

Go indoors (houses or the barn) do raise your body temp.

Again I am NEW to the game I have NONE of that.. I have NO house.. no nothing I just started

The devs here are that stupid that they won't even give a new player a fair chance to get
started.

I can't move and I can't do anything.. as I said I know NO one on this server i was just
starting out.

***** the devs on this game are useless if they make a game like this where
you just get out of the tutorial area and then you freeze into a solid block
of ice and can't even get a start on this server.

I can NOT move at all.. so don't tell me to go inside.

How the ***** do you delete a character and restart this is absolutely stupid

God the devs are horrible on this game if they design it like this where
a player can't even get a start before they get frozen into an ice block

***** this game ... I quit. This game is horribly designed where a new
player can't even get a new start I will definitely never recommend any
one ever play this game.

A big shout out to the developers of this game bellow who can't
even make a fair game where players can get a fair start
without getting frozen into an ice block and can't move
anywhere.

Not to be mean or anything :D but chill irl go find a snow bank to cool down in. Start a new toon and follow the previous persons ideas, now you know and can be prepared. There is also reeds in the starting area. Also this is Salem and sometimes life is harsh.

(What I really want to say is qq princess (love that saying) but constructively speaking it's a learning experience learn or move on :D)

PS Merry Christmas ;)

For the record. You can also just make jute clothing in the beginning when you're at the lake there you'll find reeds. Make 2 sets. One for your new character and one for your old one and then make some tinderdrills to try and thaw out your old character. Now that you've had 3 people tell you how to do it, just go do it. It's not that hard. A month from now you'll laugh at how noob you were in this game to get caught with Hypothermia at the beginning.

Also there are like 5 open log cabin houses you can go into in Providence, just click on the doors. Besides those there is also a barn and the crypt in the graveyard. Go into any of them and you will warm up over time.

I'm skeptical that this is a new player. Since when do new players post in the correct place in forums? Much less post on the forums at all? Why not just use the wiki? Something stinks.

Also Why does a fireplace not work, and the primitive shelter you can make in the beginning? It's completely counter intiutive.

Edit: I imagine this has lead many to turn away from the game, I'm unable to see how you could find the solution on your own by experimenting, which is what I have been doing up until the hyporthemia crippled me. A fireplace should regen heat as so it can act as a temporay solution for the new player, making clothes by research a new skill and then weave reeds is far from the first thing you think about then you are freezing. So yes it's a design flaw
