Jesus, both self-proclaimed experts in the matter say stupid ****:

Your formula is incorrect, your black bile doesn't matter for pistol damage. Your damage output would be the same with 10 black bile. Back in the days yellow bile had influence on your gun/pistol damage, it now is percentage based as a catch up mechanic. Your common combat power also has a small influence on your damage output, but you would need alot power in order to feel a significant difference.

It's damage to animals not players - read it again - beaver is an animal.
How on earth I could 1shot beaver if pistol damages for 15% ??

Damage to animals is not % based since patch 1.2 and BB based.
Experienced player like yourself should know it.

@Kandarim I don't claim its accurate i was hoping someone will bring more data and then construct the actual curve - what I didn't wanted was a worthless comment.
My bet is the actual curve is a gaussian.

Thanks for help.

Your problem is that you provide a data sample made at constant max BB and then you claim it is dependent on max BB, only because BB was drained.
It is like fitting a linear function based on a single point. Increase your BB by another 65 and come back with another data set, then we will see if it is dependent. ¦]

Why it would be Gaussian ? Why not just uniform? How can you prove that based on 4 points sample ?

Jesus, all I wanted is your sample data from firing practice not stupid comments.
It was honest & selfless attempt to figure out the formula for damage against the animals - I don't need any kind of advices from you as God knows I'm smarter and more knowledgeable that all of you put together (at least this is what he said to me today when I was sitting on the toilet making a turd)*

I don't have any problem nor I make claims - I make suggestions and post hypothesis - I've clearly stated it.
My singular interest is the get to know how dmg is calculated.
I don't see logic behind your post - do you consider my firearms damage hypothesis a form of personal attack against your ego - you think it was meant as some kind of IQ contest?

@gaussian Obviously i know it could be any kind of distribution.
I SAID my "bet is" guassian coz I would make it to be gaussian - for various reasons (which I won't state coz it will only lead to another offtopic discussion).
Either I have serious communication problems or you people.

once more :

I've kindly ask u to provide u data with pistol dmg to animals stating the same informations I've stated in first post on that matter.

*one of this sentences is a joke

EDIT: I hate you all soo much.

Explain me how I hit 72 with a musket and a 100 bb char and only 40's with a 700bb char then.

Dear Juda - Hit what? An animal or player?
If player that's ok with rules.

If your target was in fact animal - that is interesting and more data is needed.

And when it was? The change was implemented end of 2016.

...
Pistols now do an average of 15% damage. up from 5%.
Rifles now do an average of 35% damage. Up from 25%.
Players may no longer fire guns while mounted.
Guns now no longer do % based damage to animals.

I could've sworn that it was opposite. Gun damage to animals is not affected by BB but gun damage to players is...? I've musket hunted Argopelters on highly varying humour characters with no combat suits and do right in the same range of damage.
