After the new update , when I log in it stays black window , it doesn't close or crash , just stays like that . Tryed to delete the bin didn't do much , a little help ?

Can you give more information? Which client, your operating system, Java version, ect

Try the meshmode command thinger :

:gl meshmode d


note that you don't type it into the chatbox when logged in, but instead just type the : at the login screen, not into the login info, just own its own and it'll bring up the console input, so keep typing in the rest and hit enter, then log a char and see if it works.

Does this happen on all clients, including default?

didn't try default , and I have ender

so , I tested normal , ender and latikai , and won't work , it is just a black screen , anyone having this problem ?

ok , so I played around with it and it's still won't work , I changed my java , the client but nothing , It says it's incompatible but how it was working ? maybe I updated something in my computer that changed it . Any ideas ?

Might be totally unrelated, but when I started to play salem in 2012, I had the same issue & this fixed it for me:

I would go into your add/remove programs and remove all versions of java and then re-install. Make sure you re-install from IE and not google chrome. I had similar issues but I kept getting a white screen and not a black screen. This fixed it for me. I also updated my video drivers not sure that helped though.
