Hello to all!

Sorry for the dumb question... :geek: but how do you dress up a mannequin originally?

Thank you

Try to just right click it - all the cloths you are wearing should land up on the mannequin

Actually you don't have to remove the toolbelt. You just have to make sure it's empty. Same with the backpack

also, don't use canoes/sleds with a mannequin. They don't work well and will end up on the floor when you take the clothes from the mannequins again.

I think that the way mannequins work can be imrpoved. At the moment, if you have a tool belt or a backpack equipped, then you cannot change your outfit, because they can't be removed (since they contain stuff).

If we could have the mannequins check for the exact same parts of clothing they are dressed in. If I only have a shirt and a pair of pants on a mannequin, it should only check and replace the shirt and pants my character is wearing.

Could that be done?

Mannequins are currently made in an "all or nothing" approach, where, every "graphic' you see on the character must attempt to switch, and if it cannot, then the action must be denied. There could certainly be another and better way but it would come at too high development cost and thus is not on our urgent fix list.

how about when you clic a mannequin opening a "character equipment" screen, then using the toolbelt mechanic , like, each clothing item you clic switches with the one you wear,
and if possible a "switch all" button

I don't think people will appreciate the extra clicks.
