I have read through several posts on stove placement on forums. They say to use Ctrl and Shift to manage the placement and positioning yet I still cant seem to get it right. Is it just a case of perseverance or is there another technique that works instead. I can't seem to get it in the right place using this technique.

Don't forgot mousewheel to turn it to the right angle.
