You must be pretty good for a bad hunter! I wouldn't touch them without 150 or so. If you lag and the wishpoosh hits you twice at 80 humors, you'll ko from the bleed. Don't forget they can kill you.

+1 for the argopelter from a lumberlord. Awesome stuff.

Also, maybe a note on the constricting attack from quetzals, which can be broken by other players (and can break your bones if left unattended?)

Very nice. I'll go ahead and sticky since it's something I see people will be asking alot in the future

I would like to add that bull rush a 2 thrust would also be a great strat for most animals. Land bullrush, stab, stab and then run away. Wait for mob to attack you and repeat since its coming in a straight line.

Added spiders, and bats, along with turkies ty for catching that, and ty to kandarim for pointing out the bone breakage from quetz.

common snakes can't enter shallow water!
it's a trick to get relativly save and a place to stomp them.

i found a march hare in providence!
tought it's considerably rarer in light than darkness. so i'm told!
they are fast bastards!

two stabs with common sabre won't do against bears.
that way you get hit almost certainly!

Notice at the end how i say without glitching the mob?
They are indeed rarer in the light they become more common the further into darkness you go.
If you know how to use the "jump" function even in the slightest you have more then enough time for 2 thrusts.

Not sure if it applies to this thread or not, but spiders now rarely spawn when picking up abandoned cobwebs and immediately aggro, are your recommendations any different for the spider in these circumstances?

Few adds on topic for new players.

Rabbit, cricket and spider sunk if u kill them in shallow water.
Bones also sunk if you finish butchering in shallow water.
There is chance for Rattle snake to spawn under hollow log (if u pick it up).
Giant Bat - spawn when u feed dead bat with Royal Jelly, hes attack are hordes of normal bats that he spawning around him in waves. Cleave, cleave, cleave and cleave again...B) Will try to collect some numbers tommorow.

Argopelters spawn in darkness under 51.
Quetzalcoatl even earlier, i believe they first darkness monster that spawn (together with rats, offcourse) but not 100% sure.
Anyone have some darkness numbers for other animals?
