Teleporting to friends homestead

Postby Vibe » Tue Oct 02, 2012 7:21 pm

Hey, can I teleport to friends homestead with a non-new character? I know in H&H you could only spawn with new character on friends heartfire, but I think here I saw something in Boston where you enter your friends homestead secret and you teleport to him. Currently I'm out in the wilderness and don't want to waste the teleport to Boston to check that out. So, is it possible to teleport to friends homestead with a non-new char?

You can travel to Boston anytime you want if you empty your inventory or build a leanto.

You can use the complimentary wilderness guide service unless you already learned 'Rights of the Englishman' skill.

Can I still travel to friends homestead from Boston once I already spawned my leanto in wilderness or do I have to make a new char?

It's 30 Silver I believe to do so if you already used your complementary teleport. Other then that you'll have to recreate.

I believe the answer is "No". You can only use it with the free wilderness port for now. (Feel free to try and prove me wrong, but I'm pretty sure that it's not fully functional.)

That definitely is not working yet.

How do you actually spawn on a friends homestead with a new char? I did the tutorial then I entered his homestead secret, pressed complimentary teleport and I spawned in middle of nowhere :/

Enter secret then press enter, new button will show up in place of the text box.

Also, your friend needs to have a claim (not a leanto) as a homestead.

 kind of annoying that you can't start with your friend right from the scratch and must grind those 150 silver first for a claim
