A town bell has a base upkeep of 10 silver every 6 hours. Expanding the town bell with authority objects increases the upkeep slightly as well as increasing the capacity of the town bell. Base capacity is 750 silver.

Depends on the upkeep. The bigger the upkeep the faster it drains.

Flags are best for expanding, built on claim corners for efficiency. Each flag will add 75 upkeep to the bell and drain approx 1 additional silver per 6hrs. (4 per day) Expands claim by 50 tiles in all directions from flag

From my calculations it looks like:
bell drains 40s per 24h
each cross 10s per 24h

until town auth is below 2000,
when it is get above that level drain is higher or I am doing something wrong...
maybe number of citizens matters too?

From what I noticed it did drain faster with more silver in it but that could just be perception.
