Suppose I'll use my alt to thief something from me. Then I'll gather evidence by main character. Then I'll take my alt again and drop stolen item in public place. Can I then wait until somebody pick that item, trap this guy and kill?

Its called scented items. Old trick. It can be used to track someones base.

To counter it you should give the traded items to an alt until the scents expires.

Mere evidence won't do the trick.
