well I updated Java again, and well there is no more medium security setting, only high and very high rofl, both of which block Salem... so uhh what do

Soon the only options will be ultra high and don't run anything.

There is no way to adjust the security setting? The default client has a security certificate so it wouldn't get flagged by this, but I can understand the frustration if forced to use it.

Default client should be working for you without any problems. For custom clients:

Check syndarn post. Then add exception like he did. (for ender client its still github i believe)
For Candyrhyme client you should add this to exception list:

Custom clients should work now!

Chiperels second fix worked for Kandarim's client, as for the first fix that will no longer work as the newest update for java contains no medium security setting! GJ java!
