how does the steam distiller work? Have distiller, rose, glass vial have learned fine leathercraft cant get rose into distiller?

Hmm. Do you have an alchemy table? The distiller needs to sit on an alchemy table to function.

yes have alchemy table...........whats the order?rose into distiller first with right button?distiller in inventory or alchemy table to load?

Steam Distiller goes in alchemy table.

Then open it.

Then put rose on top, glass vial on bottom.

open alchemy table, place distiller on it. Right click distiller to open its inventory, place vial and rose inside it
