"this client is too old" massage when trying to log in

i use latikal build on ender client, and as i say in the sobject, this massage of "too old client pop up" and game not let me in.
so what i need to do in order to log in?

The custom clients need to be updated by their maker's. For now you have to use the default client.

There was big update to the game. He'll have to update his client. For now you have to use default client.

God it's been too long since I've been able to say that
I'll have to fine-tune the merge but for now it'll work again.

Changes that you think are due to the client because of the patch, please mention them. I might very well miss them as I don't have much time to play myself in the near future.

Same here, I'm getting the "client too old message."

I d/l the most recent version from the site given on the main page.

To add, when I clicked 'install from here' link, it downloaded updater.jnlp and then said Java won't run a self-signed program. ?? Any fix for that.

Are you getting the 'client too old' message or is java not running it?

You do indeed need to run the updater to be able to play again with a custom client.
