What can be trusted safely and some clarification?

Yes I'm No0b and I have questions.
So far I'm exited from game but some rules is mistery for me.
https://forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=181 is a good reading for beginners but puts newbie in fear.
Things can be stolen from him, he can mistakenly get stolen things and be punished and can be scammed on Boston square and even raided.
And I can't get some rules I can rely on.
To get some clarification I created a second char and was roaming on square for several days where i play village's fool
but got more questions than answers.
1. Accounts.
Many games limit players to 1 or several accounts. So far I don't get developers position is there any limits applied.
Criminals can use alts to make clean stolen goods. Honest people to hide valuables. So far I get this game is not about hiding but about defending. So is there limit on accounts? I assume you can have several chars on one account since you can log in with both.
2. Stolen items.
I got from forum there some scents fishing i do not clearly understand.
So far I get all you can consume immediately is safe, food and inspirations surely safe. You can not be punished for that even if you know it is stolen.
Are goodies made by craft from stolen things safe? (i made a backpack which have 1 bark i found - am I safe?)
Are multiple number things such as seeds safe? (I bought seeds and not sure if I can trust seller and some seeds left after planting)
Are slotted things safe after slotting?
Are silver pieces safe? (i found few 5s in stomps [looks like they are respawned] and not sure criminal can't put stolen silver same way for fishing)
Yes game is about trust and whom you're trust. And info can help honest people same way it may help criminals. But may be someone got answers? Yes you're 100% safe if you lucky to live without neighbors, buy only in stalls, craft everything yourself. But games are played different way i think.
