dumb question because I am lazy I have NEVER picked up a log..

Other than snakes what else sometimes pops up?

I have only seen snakes so far, and by the numbers of logs that I have picked up I dont think that anything else can pop up.

For the cobweb, I sugest you to look in myrtleoaks. I just have seen cobwebs in thems, but you can expect a lot of things inside stumps. Its harder to find cobwebs on thems.
