Max multipler is 10(100% purity), the 90% worms means multipler of 9+

my guess is, that max purity wood you can get should be around 15-20%!

how do i come to this?
you can find naturally max purity of 10%
so, 10% water + 10% pure lime will give you (hopfully) 10% clay. (not sure if it will do much to increase lime there since lime has little effect on clay)
you can increase that clay to about 12% with alchemy

now take 10% lime and granite and make it to 12% with alchemy
from your 12% ressources you can now make 12% unburtn pot, which you can increase to about 14-15% with alchemy.

when planting trees now you can only use 10% water!!
so, even if you have higher humus, your water on the pot will drag you down!

EDIT: the best i made is a 6% pot so far from 5% clay + 6% lime + 5% granite
tree already growing, and i'm waitin' to harvest cuttlings

Here's some numbers for the more mathematically inclined folks to crunch.
Note that in the 2nd bin, the humus purity for the highest element is actually higher than the compost bin's wood purity

Compost bin 1
wood purity: 7% (45.76/18.43/19.58/16.14)
worm efficiency: 100%
python1: (74.26/6.95/8.58/10.21)
pyhton2: (68.00/9.21/10.55/12.25)
python3: (60.51/12.11/13.03/14.36)
python4: (59.74/12.90/13.27/14.10)
python5: (57.02/11.31/17.22/14.46)
python6: (50.20/12.60/4.67/32.52)
worm1: (97.66/1.11/0.90/0.33)
humus purity: 6% (44.40/18.31/18.95/18.35)

Compost bin 2
wood purity: 5% (17.97/20.45/19.22/42.37)
worm efficiency: 88%
python1: (9.08/9.59/8.32/73.03)
python2: (11.01/11.04/9.51/68.46)
python3: (11.37/11.16/10.06/67.42)
python4: (11.90/12.08/10.78/65.25)
worm1, 2, 3, 4 and 5: (2.24/0.24/0.39/97.15)
worm6 (1.21/1.17/0.54/97.09)
humus purity: 5% (18.67/19.78/19.08/42.49)

Compost bin 3
wood purity: 4% (18.39/18.74/41.03/21.84)
worm efficiency: 52%
python1: (13.43/14.65/61.23/10.71)
python2: (15.86/16.15/54.68/13.32)
python3: (14.14/18.07/44.47/23.33)
worm1: (24.35/24.41/33.57/17.68)
humus purity: 2% (20.93/21.38/35.86/21.83)

Roughly, how high is your m&m to find 6% lime?
I only have 38, so the best stuff I found was like 3%

Today I bought some 7% pure salt boards, they were just above 45 salt.

I built a compost bin and added a single 85% pure salt worm with 96.x salt

I added no other worms just to see what the first humus would look like and I get... 32, 22,22,22 humus with 0% purity.

Why bother grinding up trees at all with results like this. :(

problem is, how to grind up wood to about 30%?

highest i can think of is 15%!!

Is 15% even possible?
I just got my tree grind up to 1%
and i am thinking to chop one down to see how the humus would be with 100% efficiency with 5% worms......
probably still 0% humus anyway ¦]

Nah, 33 lead wood bin with 37 lead worms (less than 5%) yields 1% humus. 1.15 or so multiplier even, so yours would be even better. And I'm sure 15% is possible but it involves a lot of test tubing and alembicing :P
